This is a catalog of all the Lenses and Talents that occur in the Alcatraz versus series.
Lenses
Lenses are made of glass and can be used by Oculators to do a variety of different things.
Oculator’s Lenses
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Evil Librarians
Glass: Red
Use: General-purpose glasses, they are just generally helpful, allows the Oculator to sense other Oculator’s auras, allows the Oculator to see Glasses and their effects with visual changes. It is very abstract but can help in many ways.
Tracker’s Lenses
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Evil Librarians
Glass: Yellow
Use: Shows footprints of people and where they’ve been, the more the Oculator knows someone, the longer the footprints remain.
Firebringer’s Lenses
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Evil Librarians
Glass: Clear with a Red dot
Use: When activated, it shoots a ray that sets ablaze anything it touches.
Shocker’s Lenses
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Evil Librarians
Glass: -
Use: Knocks out anyone who looks at the Oculator when activated.
Torturer’s Lenses

Glass: Green and Black
Use: Can incite intense pain in the person the Oculator is looking at when concentrating.

Glass: Baby blue
Use: Lets two Oculators communicate over a short distance
Harrier’s Lenses

Use: Can translate any language or tongue as long as the Oculator is wearing them.
Oracle’s Lenses

Use: Can make the Oculator see into the future.
Windstormer’s Lenses
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Scrivener’s Bones
Glass: Green
Use: Can make bursts of wind emanate from the Oculator’s face.
Voidstormer’s Lenses
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Scrivener’s Bones
Glass: -
Use: Opposite of Windstormer’s Lenses, sucks towards the Oculator.
Discerner’s Lenses
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Scrivener’s Bones
Glass: -
Use: Shows the Oculator how old things are by the whiteness of an aura when focusing on objects.
Truthfinder’s Lenses
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Scrivener’s Bones
Glass: Clear
Use: Shows the Oculator whether someone is lying to them because the liar would expel some sort of black substance, like a swarm of beetles or sludge.
Disguiser’s Lenses
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Knights of Crystallia
Glass: Violet
Use: Can be used to change the Oculator’s appearance as long as the Oculator focuses on a certain image. Each disguise does have the Lenses.
Bestower’s Lenses
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Shattered Lens
Glass: Green and purple
Use: Can be used to give some parts of the Oculator to someone else. Like the Oculator’s strength, or jump, or hunger, etc.
Shatterer’s Lenses
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Shattered Lens
Glass: -
Use: Can break glass that the Oculator is looking at.
Traveler’s Lenses
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Shattered Lens
Glass: -
Use: Can push the Oculator from one point to another ignoring obstructions in between.
Educator’s Lenses
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Shattered Lens
Glass: -
Use: Slows down time while the Oculator is wearing them.
Shamefiller’s Lenses
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Dark Talent
Glass: Deep maroon
Use: Fills living and not living things with shame before the glasses make them blow up.
Shaper’s Lenses
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Dark Talent
Glass: Speckled sparkling white
Use: Lets you see someone’s heart, soul and innermost desires. Allows the Oculator to see a representation of what the person they are looking at wants most in life.
Slantviewer’s Lenses
First appearance: Bastille versus the Evil Librarians
Glass: Teal
Use: The Oculator can mark someone as their target and then they can see an object through the eyes of another person. It makes the Oculator’s gaze the same as the target.
Talents
Alcatraz Smedry
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Evil Librarians
Can break things. This allows him to break things so that they are not useful at all anymore, but can also be used to break things in a certain way.
Leavensworth Smedry (Grandpa Smedry)
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Evil Librarians
Is constantly late. Can come late to most, if not all, things. Arrives late to bullets shot at him, arrives late to pain so that he can take the pain later in small doses. Is also constantly arriving late to his own death.
Sing Sing Smedry
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Evil Librarians
Trips. If Sing trip, there is more likely than not danger and other people around him should fall to the ground as well. It could be possible that he trips while there is no danger, however it is best to not take any chances.
Quentin Smedry
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Evil Librarians
Can say nonsense. If captured, Quentin can activate his Talent to translate anything he says into complete nonsense for a day, he can’t turn this off therefore he is a great spy. He can be understood in this state with Translator’s Lenses. His Talent can also predict the future, if this is the case for everything he says is not clear, but it is better to pay attention.
Shashta Smedry
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Evil Librarians
Can lose things. Married to Attica.
Australia Smedry
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Scrivener’s Bones
Can wake up ugly in the morning. When she wakes up can look like someone else, if she thinks about someone the effect is strengthened to look like them.
Kazan Smedry
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Scrivener’s Bones
Can get lost. Can use his ability to quickly travel to any place, unreliable and can be weeks before he makes it to his destination.
Attica Smedry
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Scrivener’s Bones
Can lose things.
Folsom Smedry
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Knights of Crystallia
Is a bad dancer. When hearing music starts kung-fu fighting.
Pattywagon Smedry
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Knights of Crystallia
Can say inappropriate things at awkward times.
Himalaya Smedry
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Knights of Crystallia
Is a bad dancer. When hearing music starts kung-fu fighting. Married to Folsom.
Aydee Ecks Smedry
First appearance: Alcatraz versus the Shattered Lens
Is bad at math. When she calculates something her Talent ensures that her answer is correct by teleporting things.
